July 2007--- The RWA Conference in Dallas was awesome!!!  I made some great contacts and hooked up with old friends while making new ones.   See for yourself!!

June 2007--- Okay, I've done something I never do!  I've changed my mind and at the last minute decided to go to the RWA national conference!  OMG -- now I'm totally freaking.  I have so much to do to prepare!  New clothes, business cards, bookmarks with my fab cover on them, creating an itinerary, getting my proposals ready, losing that extra weight.  Lord, I'm in for it now.  30 days and counting!!!!  How could I have even thought I could skip a year?  What was I thinking????  Dallas, here I come!

As if just getting ready for conference wasn't enough, I had to try my hand at some promotion.  I've made some awesome books marks!!  And then I had to go and make a myspace page.  OMG -- what a royal pain.  So, now that I'm out there in myspace world -- FRIEND ME!  WWW.MYSPACE.COM/CYNTHIACOOKE

May 2007 --- Animazement OMG!!!  What can you say about 4000 people dressed up as their favorite Anime or gaming characters?  It was amazing!!  These people LOVE these characters!  They identify with them.  They want to be them and live in their worlds.  What writer doesn't long for that kind of readership.  I LOVED Animazement and will definitely be there next year escaping into a world full of strong heroines and the demons who love them.
